It was about a little boy who bought this wooden box from like a thrift store or antique shop. The shopkeeper advises him not to let his finger get caught in the box. When the boy gets home, he finds a secret compartment in the box that has a miniature boy inside wearing olden clothes. Does anyone know the name of this story and/or who wrote it? I read it 20 years ago when I was a child, lol, and cannot find it anywhere on the internet.
