Does any ever watch old still game episodes?

I've got the complete series boxset (series 1-6 which includes the Christmas and Hogmanay Specials).I watched an episode a couple of months back because i was bored.I haven't watched any since then.

I'm glad they have stopped making it. The first two series of Still Game is some of the greatest situation comedy Britain has ever produced, it's a real shame most people in England have never seen it. The later series were still well worth watching, but not a patch on the early stuff. I think it had run it's course.

I miss the guys though, especially Winston.

I like watching old episodes of Treasure Hunt (the 80s original, not the pretty rubbish 00s remake). It showcased the UK countryside and lots of really interesting locations beautifully at the time. Great for a nostalgia trip.

Erm...I just re-read the OP and realised they were talking about something completely different, but I misread the question as "old gameshow episodes"...oops! Ignore my post. :p

I bought the complete box set (inc. the Christmas specials) last Christmas and watched the lot over an entire weekend this past January when we had that awful snow. I loved that show, but I think Kiernan and Hemphill ended it at the right time as it was becoming a bit repetitive at the end. Of course, hadn't they had that wee falling out, they probably would have made more. Still, I'd love to see some specials as Hogmanay last year wasn't the same without a new Still Game.

i loved it and was hoping for more, but it probably did end at the right time. i love to re-watch it for the classic that it is like father ted, not have to see it go steadily downhill like so many good comedies.
i've yet to get over the 3rd series of citizen smith all those years ago -why did they bother?

I've got the box set - bought for me by my other half who lives in Glasgow but can't stand watching it! I think it's great however, and really miss it. My folks also love it too - father thinks it's one of the finest sitcoms ever made...each to their own, I wouldn't go that far but I do love it.

Some of us do. Loved Still Game. Also loved Rab C Nesbit, was horrified to discover the BBC subtitled it. Working out what they were saying was half the fun. And then there was that little series Absolutely. No wasps.
