Just curious, does acid reflux get worse when your in the heat? The heat is so bad right now feeling like 105 degrees outside but just going out and doing daily things has made me lose my appetite and my stomach gets nausea. I take zantac twice a day. My mom noticed the same thing that her acid reflux got worse in the heat. My stomach was sore to the touch yesterday and it felt like acid coming up in my throat. I have been drinking my water, and watching what I eat but it just gets bad when I am outside. I have no gallbladder and I am tired too.

I am sorry you are feeling cruddy. I know mine gets worse in the heat too. I am really dealing with it and we have 90 degree temps and with heat index into the 100's. So yes, I believe the heat makes it worse.

What kinRAB of medication do you take? Some medications can cause symptoms if you are out in the sunlight or heat for too long. Are you drinking plenty of water while you are outside in the heat? You can get cramps & nausea from dehydration or heat exhaustion.

Just some things to look at.

I am using Zantac twice a day. I drink water all day and even carry it with me. I am always in the shade but it was the heat I think that was making feel sick and your right certain medicines can cause symptoms.

I talked to alot of people who have acid reflux and they said their condition has been acting up as well from all the heat.
