i have had a wage garnishment on my paycheck since july 8th. according to my last statement and my calculations the last garnish should be on nov 11th and then the debt should be paid in full. can someone who has had a garnishment please tell me will the garnishment automatically stop as soon as it is paid or will i have to call and call and call and fight and fight and fight??? it is almost christmas time and i have 2 kids!!! and i am very eager to lay off some of the over time!!!
mine was for $2,300 for a apartment rental company...well the garnish is from their lawyer. its on my paycheck...not taxes.
