im getting a turtle and im going to keep him outside until winter do i need to get UV, UVB ,heat lamps or any other lighting when he is outside and when he is inside what will he need. HELP IM GETTING HIM IN 3 DAYS I DON'T HAVE TIME!
Probably not. The sun provides the light for life. I would however look for heating requirements. Im pretty sure turtles hibernate in the winter, but Id ask some sort of expert.
I'm going to guess since that turtle's ancestors lived outside without lights for thousands of years, he should be ok. Set up his habitat like it would be naturally and he will be happy.
