the military? i am weighing out my options after i graduate to see what else i want to do.
thanks for your responses.

Not the same as the enlisted guys. You will go thru different type not as strenuous. (sp) I am Retired AF.

It depends. Do you want to be a Military Nurse? It also depends which branch you join. FYI, the marines do not have nurses.

If you have your BSN you can go to OCS which has an officer version of basic training.

If you want to be a civilian nurse at a military hospital you don't.

yes you still have to go to boot camp, but being an RN you get to join as a higher rank. youd' probably get bigger bonuses to because you already know your stuff. plus ever branch has an excellent medical field that you honestly cant go wrong with. good luck

Professional officers, nurses, doctors, lawyers

Go to a shortened version of OCS.

But you still have to pass that services Physical fitness test and maintain height and weight standards of that service.
