if your PC freezes when you play a game, it's likely a video card related issue.

Yes... but depending upon power supply...

if u have graphic card then shut pc off remove graphic card and clean the contacts of graphic card with ink eraser....
and also clean ur RAM contacts.... this mostly happens because of moisture and carbon....

if dont know to open pc then call the pc guy.....

You should write what fans you have and what hardrives you have, they take Energy as well.

As for your question, that is a likely possibility, but there are other options: Bad connections between components, Viruses, Insufficient system requirements, Directx compatibility problem and so on.

I would advise you to Check the system requirements of the game, if it isn't in every game, perhaps you should contact the creators of that particular game.

Check your components power requirements (Every component...)

385 watts is plenty for those components, I'd go with video card or RAM issue.

To test your RAM use this program: http://www.memtest.org/
You just download and burn it and keep it in the CD drive as your restart, the memtest screen should load. It usually takes about 40 minutes to complete, if any errors pop up, then your RAM is bad and you need to buy new sticks.

1.5GB of DDR2 is £30 tops.
