Does a Marine OCS candidate have to go to boot camp before going to OCS, or is...

...boot camp worked into OCS? Does a college graduate with no prior military experience have to go to boot camp before he can go to OCS?
 
OCS is boot camp on steroids

Beware that just because you're a college grad doesn't mean that you're getting into OCS. A college degree is required for OTS, but keep in mind that they know that a college degree in no way actually prepares you to lead Marines in life and death situations.
 
OCS is almost like officers boot camp.....its a candidate school...... its just like boot camp except for the fact that they dont have to give you a commission just because you made it through......no you wouldn't go through enlisted boot camp to be an officer.
 
Enlisted recruits go to "boot camp", at either Parris Island or San Diego. But all Marine officer candidates go to Quantico, VA. A Marine officer candidate doesn't go to "boot camp", but they do get put through the ringer like those enlisted recruits and then some.
