I am interested in purshasing a new motorcycle to help me with the legacy run next year. Its about a weeks worth of constant riding so I am trying to find out which is better the Kawasaki KLR 650 or my highly modified 2003 Honda Shadow VT750DC. I have completely rebuilt my old bike into a touring motorcycle complete with hard bags and trunk, windshield and floorboards and better seat. I work at a kawasaki deaer and we have a 2008 Kawasaki KLR 650 on our sales floor for 6000... in my price range with bags and better windshield. Which would you drive on this run, my old DC or the Kawasaki KLR 650?
