Does a Honda Jazz (original - not new model) come passenger airbag switch as standard?

I'm looking to buy a reliable cheap 2nd hand run-about for my wife once our 1st child is born in a few weeks time, and was wondering if anyone knows if the passenger airbag can be turned off in an original Honda Jazz (I know the new version allows this but my budget can't stretch that far). If its doesn't come as standard, can they be fitted at a Honda garage?

I know this is possible in our other consideration, a Ford Fusion for about £160.

Thanks
Just to expand, the reason the child is in the front is because it will be a new-born child, they can't go in the back until they can hold their own head up (otherwise their head can fall forwards and making breathing difficult - well that's what the wife's told me anyway)

you should never have a child in the front anyway, even if the airbag is turned off. this is mostly for small adults who don't weigh enough to set the switch. children should always be in the back seat, and infants there should be in a child seat.
