My female was spayed on 4/26 and today 4/27 she was having a little episode of hot flashes. She was panting like she did when she had her litter of pups 21/2 yrs ago. Do dogs do that?
Yes, even when they get their period they get hot and uncomfortable. So imagine going through a hysterectomy your hormones go crazy for a bit. Try and keep her cool and hydrated and if it persists or worsens call or take her back to the vet. hope i helped a bit. Good luck
