i pay my daughters mother child support payments through CSA but she is now asking for more, she wishes me to pay towards clothes ect, i thought that the CSA payments covered all this, do i legally have a responsibility to contribute towards these or is the CSA child support payments enough??? she is claiming child benefit, child tax credit and income support for her self and my daughter so i believed she is therefore liable to buy things that my daughter needs with this money

your lawyer knows better than us. depending on your current financial situation, I heard that fathers can pay up to millions if they are capable of doing so.

Sounds like she is trying her luck, tell her you will hold back some child support money and use it to take her shopping your self. There are too many women out there using children as weapons to manipulate the father to get what they want. I think the proper term for her actions is called extortion.

I will say no. You are only responsible for whatever the
court has stated. If your ex wants
more money then she will have to take
you back to court and justify the
increase. The money dictated by the court is for the needs of the child
which includes clothes. If she needs
more then she needs to come up with
the rest of the money herself.
