I have about 2000 watts going to 2 subs (1000 watts a piece) and all this is running of my battery. Question is i know of a lot of people that has a extra battery in the trunk and was wondering what is the benefit of this? Does it make the subwoofers hit harder and sound better?
I know how to install subs and i have everything hooked up and working. Im asking if the additional battery in the trunk instead of a capasitor is the better choice. If you dont know the answer dont answer at all

go to a sound shop or radio shop an dbuy the right stuff to store power woul dwork better just ask any radio shop that install them they could help you

Yea it does help, my step dad hooks up audio systems all the time... he customizes cars for a living. He always places an extra battery in the trunk.
