Does a Dutch labour law apply in full scope?

I'm working as expatriate in Hungary but signed a service contract with Dutch recruitment company and governing law is Dutch hence the question: Does the Dutch labor law apply? What if some articles are void, does it make the whole contract void? Something like being fired if sick for more than 3 days in particular.
