Does a cop show up to traffic court for non moving violations?

Officers have assigned court dates, where they prosecute all of the tickets they've written, moving or not.

Would a cop take a day off to show up for court just for your ticket? No. But he'll be there to testify about it, along with the speeding tickets, reckless driving tickets, loitering tickets, and so on that he wrote since last court date.

Do cops show up to traffic court for non moving violations such as expired insurance and expired registration?

I know they largely show up for moving violations if the subject pleads not guilty, but what about non moving violations?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
