...weekends? Does a child have the right to complain yes or no, she can only see her father on weekends? Her mother makes her see her father every weekend and says that she has a good father. Her mother also tells her that he only has time to see her on weekends and does not have time for her on weekdays.

There's a lot of information that has to be provided to legally answer this question.

What were the terms of custody? How old are you? Did you have legal representation during the custody discussion?

There may be a whole lot going on that you are being sheltered from and truthfully you may not need to know right now. Some things are best left until we're older and more mature; able to emotionally, mentally, physically handle the information.

Why would a mother say that. She needs to tell her daughter that her father works and hopefully he does and by the time he gets home there is no time left to visit. The mother does not need to make the father out to be some jerk that can not make time for his daughter even if it is the case. It hurts the kid and makes the mother look bad once the kid is old enough to realize that her dad is a good man. I'm sure maybe the mother is not trying to mean but the way she is saying sounds mean. But yes the kid does have a right to complain because she is not the one that got divorced.
