does a 94 mazda protege DOHC have interference heads?

Most Mazda engines are not interference heads. But they do have the tendency to blow a head gasket when the timing belt slips.
Preventive maintenance is so much cheaper!
 
My timing belt broke while driving down the highway. i am needing to know if that thing has interference heads to find out if the valves and head are bad in it too. it is a 94 mazda protege LX. Duel OverHead Cam (DOHC)
