Does a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee need a Slip Yoke Eliminator?

Is it the same as an xj and if it is why do most lift kits for an xj come with a SYE and almost all lift kits for a ZJ SYE's are not even mentioned.

Also if it is needed at what point in height of a lift would it be needed and what is the cheapest a SYE would run me, as a have seen SYE's for Xj's at about 300$ and the only SYE I've seen for a ZJ was over 1000$.

Any answers would help me!
 
Good luck having your good question answered here since it's very detailed. Your lift product manufacturer might answer your questions since you bought the lift kit from them. Check their website.
