inch rim? any bicycle experts? i have been having problem with bicycle tires. the 26 inch tube seems really long for the rim while 24 inch tube fits perfectly. However the 24 inch tube just exploded probably because of too much air. So my question is does the 24 or 26 inch tube go on a 26 inch rim? and if possible can you put the best way to install and inflate the tire?

The tube size and the rim size must match. The explosion you described in your question is what happens when they don't match. Look at the tire's sidewall. It will have an indication of the rim size and tire width, usually something like 26x2.0 meaning a 26 inch rim and a 2.0 inch wide tire. Make sure you buy a tube that fits both of those numbers.

26 goes with 26. It's an optical illusion that it appears too big. The 24 inch tube popped because it doesn't fit. They put the size on the tire and the tube so you won't get confused. Go with what is on the tire.
