Does a 1992 Dodge Caravan have a serpentine chain?? ?

My van is acting strange--the charge gage is clear at the top-almost in the red. My transmission is slipping badly and the check gages light comes on often--I dont have money for a trans. but maybe if its just simple I can get it fixed-any advice is helpful. Thank you!!
