Does a 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier have a car alarm?

I woke up last night and thought I saw my friend's 1991 Chevy Cavalier's hazard lights flashing and horn beeping. She insists that her car doesn't have an alarm.
Does anyone own one of these that can tell me if they come with an alarm?
I don't think I'm going crazy, I saw what I saw, but she tried to set an alarm off herself and it didn't go off...
 
no, these cars did not have factory car alarms. however, with it being 18 years old, someone could have easily installed one during that time period.
