Does a 1984 Toyota Trueno/Corolla/AE86 have a ECU?

I'm planing on getting one if I can find one for 2 reasons. First reason, Initial D of coarse. Secondly I would like a car that doesn't have a ECU to avoid top speed limiters, electronic fuel injection, and electronic tuning. I want something with a carb. I know how to tune a carb from so many years of go carts, motor cycle, and four wheelers.
By tuning the carb I mean changing the air to fuel ratio.
 
ae86 runs the 4age motor its got an ecu there is no speed limiter those came much later and a car carb is nothing like the lil carbs on bikes and go carts they don't need to be tuned the way bike carbs do
