Fun, predictable and entertaining film... I think your enjoyment of it hinges on whether you like the character played by Ben Stiller... You will be wishing your 90 minutes back if you are annoyed by him. Fortunately, and quite unexpectedly, something about him tickled me, so I found myself laughing when others were not :p
Anyone else seen it yet, what you think?
 
i saw the vue preview last week and thought it was a fun movie, it brought back memories of when we were taught random games in p.e and for a term we played a variation of dodge ball!
 
I dont think this will be my kinda film. I like a good comedy, but this looks a bit too goof ball for my liking.
 
This film will just disappear into the distance. Its just one that people "wouldn't mind seeing" but never get around to. I think it will probably do well on pay per view.
 
I saw it and loved it!! Was expecting it to be stupid and immature, but found it hilarious.

Also though Vince Vaughan was great in it. Complete coincidence butsaw him in three films one weekend, Starsky&Hutch, Old School and Dodgeball.
 
It does sound good and I'm definitely going to see it..

Ben Stiller is one of my favourite comedic actors, favourite films of his would be Mystery Men and Meet the Parents.

According to Empire mag, he's similar to the character he played in Mystery Men..
 
I think the best scene would be the leery trucker watching the youngest dodgeballer washing his tyres.

Of course the last scene which I won't spoil for you, which makes the whole movie, and the various Ben Stillerisms you could see as you watched. However I think this character was closer to the one he played in Zoolander than the one he played in Mystery Men, as there were a lot of the whole conversations that went absolutely nowhere..
 
i saw it yesterday and LOVED it. stiller and vaughan are great and have such chemistry, the scene where stiller is trying to buy 'average joes' for 100k is brilliant, his eyes are so intense i don't know how vince can keep a straight face.
the film is completely predictable, but i predicted that before i saw it. go in with an open mind and you'll love it
