I am going to be buying a new truck soon, and I have two that I am looking at the first is a 2004 Chevy Silverado, short bed 4.3 V6 manual transmission, the other is a 2002 Dodge Ram long bed 3.7 V6 manual transmission, the chevy has 54,000 miles on it, the dodge has 22,000 miles on it, but the 3.7 seems like an awful small engine for a fullsize truck, My dad has a 2001 silverado with the 4.3 V6 and loves it, I do too, but I dont know what to choose, can anyone give me some opinions or facts about the two engines to help me decide what to do?
