Dodge truck dash cracking all up, what lawyer do I get?

I have a 2000 Dodge 3500 Dually and the dash is cracking all up and even has a hole in it now. It hasn't ever been in a wreck. I took it to the dealership in Foley, Alabama and they said to call corporate. Corporate said they would cover half of the expense, but I feel it is a default in the material and they should pay for it in full. I was thinking about getting another Dodge in the future when I was done with this one, but I won't if they can't do better then this. A friend has a Ford that is a 95 and it's dash is fine. The dealer tried to say it was the heat, but it can't be if others in the area, that are different makes are not having problems. I need to know what type of attorney do I need to hire or what do I need to do to resolve this issue? Everyone that sees it can't believe they aren't replacing it at their expense. Some people feel they should just replace the truck. It does have around 135000 miles on it, so it is pass the 100,000 warranty, but this isn't right for a truck that cost nearly $50,000. Any help will be appreciated.
