I have a 2006 Dakota, 4X4 V6, 6-speed manual transmission.
So, I got it stuck the other night in the bog known as my brother's yard., I flipped her into 4X4 and proceeded to give it a little hell, but never got it out. Had to get a 10 ton tractor to rip me out the next day.
Once I got back in the gear shifter was completely inop. Engine will start while shifter is in ANY gear position including neautral. As I sit in the truck, I can push the shifter from gear to gear without depressing clutch, it doesn't shut the engine down, it doesn't engage, it doesn't do anything.
Can ANYONE share some of their knowledge with me on this one?
