so i adjusted the steering but it has still has alot of slack and i constantly have to turn the wheel back and forth to keep it on the road the right side clanks when i turn before anyone says cv joints its a truck that is not a 4x4 so that means rear wheel drive there is also a squaking sound when i slow down on that side its not the breaks and as far as i can tell its not the tie rod ends my queston is would a front end aliment fix it or could it be the wheel bearing going out if so what do i need to buy if anybody who does car repair for a living reads this please leave a way for me to contact you because i dont have enough room to write everything down
I can get it to go straight without having to move the wheel but only for a few min its a scary feeling when i say slack what I mean is it feels like the rear of my truck stays in place and the left front slides or drifts to the left so I have to turn it to the right so much so that it almost runs off the road and i have to turn it futher to the right then i do to the left in order to turn the wheels oh its a 1988 dodge ram charger
