dodge ram srt 10 for first car?

i love that freakin truck!
im going to get a job hopefully this week.

if i do i wana know pro's & con's to getting this as first car.

im 17 years old. i turn 18 in november, its a minimum wage job, have no bills to pay. the whole check is mine..... how much does it cost to maintain etc any info would be good...

if i dnt get that ill end up getting an 05 or 06 pontiac gto
 
that's a lot of vehicle and a lot of cost for no more than you,ll be able to pay,i doubt that you,ll get a loan for one unless you have a co-signer for it,they do cost a lot to upkeep and maintain,and are kind of hard on gas also,insurance alone would take most of what you,ll make ,good luck.
 
Your better off with the GTO. Dodge ram is a retarded vehicle which is terrible on gas and end up costing more. You will also notice problems with the RAM too. It is expensive to maintain and you have a minimum wage job, you will most likely spend it on that junk truck. I suggest you stay away from it.

a srt10 for a first car? why don't you go for a regular 1500 or something you can afford the insurance on? the insurance for a srt10 would be huge for an 18 year old, not to mention the gas mileage sucks on 'em, then comes oil changes and all the other maintenace costs.
