would it better to run a geared timing system if i can get one or just use an OEM chain??? figured running gears it would be more direct... and i have a check light for alt. gen. short.... is there a place this usually happens or am i stuck hunting it down??? i check the connections and all are tight and no corrosion... could the alt. be going out?
