Dodge intrepid or Ford Focus?

im 14 turning 15 in may and i get to go car shopping on my birthday....my dad said that i can either get a dodge intrepid or a ford focus i love to mess around in cars like race and stuff so which car is best for me?
 
The Focus has been the best selling car in the WORLD. They're raced in the SCCA. Will get better MPG too.
I don't like the Intrepid 'cause it feels like you're sitting on the ground.
 
Intrepid is faster and has more room, intrepid is generally better built and has less problems

Focus is probably a little funner to drive because it's smaller, you can find one with a manual if you want, cannot get a manual in the intrepid. focus is more common among teenagers.

strange that he would limit you to those two.??
 
I work at a ford (mainly) garage and I think the focus is the worst car ford made with the possible exception of the contour. But there are people who have had good luck with them
 
Get the focus. Granted they're not the best car in the world, but Dodge's in general are piles of junk. Your best bet would be a toyota corolla or honda civic if your dad would let you get one.
