Dodge Diesel: Throttle positioning Sensor or Tranmission positioning sensor?

I am getting conflicting answers on what sensor i broke. The sensor is positioned right behind the transmission oil pan. Almost on the very bottle of the tranny pointing towards the driver door.

My friends truck is a 04 Dodge Diesel 3500 auto tranny 4x4

Please help.....Thank You
