E Edisse New member Jan 11, 2010 #1 I got a thermostat from Napa, it has the checkball and gasket like the old one, but looks different. They say it's the correct one, and it'll fit. But shouldn't it be exactly the same as the old one?

C carpenter New member Jan 11, 2010 #2 they change the looks of some parts but they still work if it seats in the hole right and the gasket lines up it will work
