technically it can devoid the whole warranty but most dealers will look the other way on everything but the sound system. but be warned, most new vehicles have an inter graded electrical systems. like on GM cars the radio is tied into the tire monitoring and oil life systems, also the security systems learn all the modules (computers, and yes the radio is considered a computer now) id's to prevent thefts.
