Cost is only somewhat of an issue and gas mileage is not a factor.
I like the 2006-present Chargers a lot and am getting a used one as a car to do some work on (paint, wheels, sound system, interior).
Based on performance would it be better for me to get the RT with a 5.7L V8 Hemi (don't want the 6.1L Hemi) or to go ahead and get the 2.7L V6 engine and replace it later on with an engine similar to one of these: http://www.enginefactory.com/big_block_engines.htm these engines go from a 454 up to a 572 and range in horsepower from 430-750hp vs the charger hemi that puts out 340.
I understand that I will most likely never need 400-700+ horsepower, but I want to make this car over the top in all aspects
The website I posted is for Chevy engines, here is one for Hemi's: http://www.mopar.com/performance/features/crateengines/index.html
