Dodge caravan 2000, Fan Blower?

It has been driving me crazy,,,,,,I know how to get to it. . Once I got to it and bangged real hard on the motor, it worked fine for two weeks. But now sometimes it works and sometimes it does not!

My question is??? has the fan blower gone bad? Is this a loose connection?? Is there any other component that could affect this kind of malfunction??

If I replace the fan, should that take care of problem????

if you banged on it and it worked for that long of a time then it may just be a bad connection on it, try checking the wires that connect to it first before you replace it and also check the resistor on it,that may have a bad connections also,they usually wont last too long if their bad,so yours may just be a loose or bad connection,there's no guarantee that if you replaced it that it would solve the problem,not without being able to check it out in person,good luck with it.
