Dodge Avenger or Jeep Patriot?

Which one should we buy and why. I am torn but haven't test drove them yet. (we have kids too).
 
The Jeep Patriot is maybe slightly better for your family.

But both are pretty terrible with very poor ratings and reviews. Honda, Toyota, Nissan, GM, Ford, Hyundai and even KIA all have better vehicles on the market.
 
Both of these vehicles really suck. The dodge avenger will not last you a long time at all and the jeep patriot is very small on the inside. you should consider something completely different then these two. I would recommend that you look at something more like a grand prix or an impala ss newer of course 05 or later.
