I think I messed up big time. I was trying to replace the oil sending unit, I got the speical socket and everything. Started taking off the old one and while trying it snapped off at the end. So the very end is stuck in there and I can not get it out. I started me truck just see what would happen, and yes the oil pressure gauge just sits on zero now. So I know I broke the sending unit and will need to get that out of there but my question is....is it ok to drive with the sending unit not working? It still has oil pressure even though I can see the oil pressure on my gauge right? Maybe a dumd question but I have no clue. I don't get paid till next week and I have to have my truck running till then. Basically am I going to damage my truck driving with no sending unit for a few days?
