The following is copied and pasted from DV Tech Support, Jason:
?Try the following steps. I know you mentioned that you tried reinstalling the program, however these steps offer a few other things along the way which may resolve your issue. Please follow the steps carefully, and to be safe make sure that all of the documents on your handheld have been synced to your desktop.
Please insert any expansion card that you may own to ensure that these steps work correctly. (If you do not own an expansion card, there is no need to buy and insert one into the handheld, simply follow the steps below exactly as stated)
Please make sure you have around 7 megs free on the handheld, then:
1. Click on the PRC DataVizTech, and save it to your desktop
2. Double click on the PRC, which is now on your desktop. It will go into Palm's Quick Install, and be queued for the next HotSync
3. Hotsync
4. On the handheld, open the application DataVizTech
5 Tap on the "Move Applications to Handheld" Button
6 You will receive a message asking you to confirm you would like to move the applications. Tap "Yes".
7. Choose the third option, uninstall Documents to Go.
8. Tap the upper left hand corner of the screen to bring down a menu
9. Choose Options> Advanced Options
10. Tap the first button, "Delete Preferences"
11. Next, tap the third button, "Delete Temp Database"
This will remove the handheld applications.
Perform a Soft Reset:
Use the reset tip tool (see below), or the tip of an unfolded paper clip (or similar object without a sharp tip), to gently press the reset button inside the hole on the back panel of your handheld.
A soft reset tells your handheld to stop what it's doing and start over again. All records and entries stored in your handheld are retained with a soft reset. After a soft reset, the Welcome screen appears, followed by the General Preferences screen.
On the desktop:
1. Open Documents To Go on the desktop computer. Click on the Tools Menu and select Re-Install Handheld Applications.
2. Click Ok.
3. Close Documents To Go on the desktop computer, put the Palm device in the cradle and synchronize the device. This should correct this issue.
****Please note: If you are using a laptop computer with a docking station (or network synching with a wireless device), please remove the laptop from the dock, plug your sync cable directly into the laptop, and try to reinstall the handheld applications.

DataViz Support?
I am no longer using Wordsmith. There are many reasons, conflicts with D2Go is not one of them, and its been a while so I don?t recall the others. Others feel exactly the opposite, so you pay your money and take your choice. I do know that D2Go does cause periodic crashes and problems, but I have survived them all with little hassle (most of the time). Hope this helps. If you cannot locate the DataVizTech program on their web site, just call or email Jaason (per above). It has worked for me several times. The instructions appear far more complicated than they really are in practice. It is not that difficult to do. LOL (lots of luck).
