Doctor's office pregnancy test?

Ive been having pregnancy symptoms for the past 5 days and went to the doctor this morning. The test was negative. My concern is that the results may not be accurate because my period isn't due until April 22-23. Wouldn't this be too early to get an accurate test result? This was a urine test, not blood.
 
It is too early to test but then again the docs are pretty accurate. To be honest id go back again after the dates your period is due if you miss it.
