Doctor's Appt.

I have a doc. appt. tomorrow morning and I'm really not looking forward to it. First, I have to get a shot for Menengitus (sp?) before going to college. Then I have to have a full exam. And I do mean a FULL exam. (Ladies, u know what I'm talking about.) Then I have to have blood tests run to check my cholesteral and check for diabetes since that runs in my family. And lastly I have to have my ears flushed because they don't drain right and wax gets stuck against the ear drum and rubs making my ears hurt terribly. All they do is pour hydrogen peroxide in my ear and then use this squirt gun thing (It looks like something you'd fill a canoli with to me personally.) and rinse my ears out. It's kinda nast.

I don't hate the doctor, I just don't like having a check up really and I'm not terribly fond of shots. But w/e. Hopefully they won't find anything wrong with the blood tests.

The only time I can't stand the doctor is when they make corny jokes while messing with your balls/vagina (and for you old people, anus). That just creates an awkward atmosphere and makes me want to punch them in the throat. Oh, and good luck!

It's amazing the amount of medical needs the average person takes to survive? I feel for ya Magnolia. I don't much like the doctors either. Hopefully it all goes smooth.

Don't let him "put you under" while you're naked!! ;)

haha. It's a woman doctor.

Everything went well. As far as I know as of today I have no infections. I got my shot and it only hurt a little bit cuz she hit a vein and it made it hurt more when she injected the vaccine. I don't have cancer or high blood pressure/ choleseral (sp?). And I found out I just have allergies. So now I'm on Allegra. Like I needed to add another Rx to my list, but if it helps.

P.S.
My Rx's cost over $200. So much money in one day.

Ask for a lollipop. Makes the whole trip worth it. :happysad:

I haven't been to the doctor in 2 years, for 2 main reasons.

Reason 1 is that I'm no longer covered under dad's medical. That stopped the minute I turned 19.
Reason 2 is I just don't want to. I let my body take care of itself. :happysad:

Glad things went well mag...

I don't have a doctor, I don't like doctors, I don't go to the doctor. I am healthy. 99% of your health is in your head, maybe less or maybe more, but whatever. I believe to be healthy so I am healthy!
