DocsToGo - Deleting documents on pda

I have a T3 with Documents to Go v.7.006 Premium Edition

If I delete a previously synched document from my pda in the Documents to Go program, will it remain on my pc in My Documents?

I have some documents created on my pda, that I synched with my PC. Along the way they have been edited -- sometimes form the PC, sometimes from the pda -- and then synchronized later.

I no longer need to have these documents taking up pda space, but I want to keep tehm in my PC for future use if I ever have a need for them again.

If I delete them from my pda, will they remain on the desktop? If so, do I need to go into Docs To Go on the desktop and remove the filenames from the manager to avoid them being resynched to the pda the next time I do a synch?

Yes. You need to go into the Docs to Go and remove it. Otherwise it will continue syncing to your Palm.

You only have to delete them from either the Handheld app or the desktop, not both. Deleting from one place will delete from the other. Regardless of where you delete, the original doc will stay in your My Docs folder on the PC.

I have a Mac and if I delete a D2G document on the PDA it will no longer sync of course, but the file will still exist on the Mac. I can later use the D2G program on the Mac and have it sync to the PDA again if I want to.

If you are not sure of what it will do why don't you make a duplicate copy of the document on the PC and store it wherever. Then delete it on the PDA and see what happens. You have nothing to lose doing it that way.
