Docs to go problem

I stopped syncing DTG with version 6, when it went to Native Code where you could just copy your documents to your SD card and load em up. When latter versions (starting with version 9) added the file manager interface, it was perfect. My DTG conduits always were turned off.
 
I found D2Go caused hangs during HotSync, but even worse, would overwrite the newer file with an older from either the Palm device or Desktop. I disabled D2Go in HotSync and copied files manually when I felt an update was necessary. Outside of sync issues I made good use of D2Go - and still do.

I make it a point to go into the DataViz Tech Tools (on the Palm), select "Advanced Options" from the menu, and run the "Delete Database" and "Delete Temo Databse" options. If the apps or sync were really misbehaving I would also run the "Delete Preferences" option and reconfigure the apps from scratch. These didn't always help sync and is part of why I just gave up on it in favor of manual copy using the Card Reader app from Mobile Stream.

Good luck and keep backups! I resorted to backups many times while still hoping to get that darn D2Go sync to work.
 
pretty much what Varjak said, even more so if it is the version bundled with the TX (7, I think). that version is as close to poop as it gets, imo. Version 10 is what I have and use often, especially Excel. it reads the native documents (Word & Excel), without the need for a conversion as I believe v.7 requires (hence the *need* to sync). and as Varjak said, I do the document transfer manually, as needed.

try to get an updated version of DTG; iirc, 11 ithe current version
 
You couldn't uncheck the box to NOT synch D2G? Did you remember to save your custom synch configuration before hotsynching? Double check that. Maybe soft reset your device, re-configure your custom hotsynch making sure to save the configuration, and then synch. Good luck.

I find D2G to be a royal pain in the butt. Mine worked fine for about a year, and then all of a sudden Slideshow to Go started acting up (I'd never even used that). So now I don't synch D2G at all. If I want to use it, I load docs via the SD card.
 
I cannot sync without a problem. Documents to go ALWAYS hangs up. It went through all programs quickly and then hung up docs for over 2 hours.
What can I do?
I tried to remove it from the sync list but no dice...
