Docs to Go issue

I love docs to go, but what happens when you delete a file on your PC, leaving its palm version orphan? Any way to get it back?

Have you tried chagning your hotsync conduits for Docs to Go to "Palm Overwrites Desktop"? I think I tried this a very long time ago and when you go to look for the files, I think it saves it in your "My Documents" folder. Just an idea, don't know if it will work.

The native path is straight to the My Documents main folder.

The other suggestion I would make is to save it as a new file name on the Palm and then watch for it to show up in the My Documents folder.

The other option is to go into DTG and then "send" the file - you can choose to send it to the SD card as an Excel file or Word file and then you can simply use the SD card like a floppy disc and transfer the file using Windows Explorer to your PC - provided you have an SD card reader or slot. My company laptop does have an SD slot and I often move stuff in this manner.
