lol, if anyone ever tells me that swimming is easy, I just smile and shake my head. All I can think of, as far as dancing goes, compared to swimming, is that at least we don't have to starve ourselfs, and we are incouraged to eat a lot of good, healthy foods. But swimming is really always about pushing yourself to the next great break, and people that don't know a lot about swimming have no idea what that's like. I always get so annoyed that swimming only is really a big sport during the Olympics, because, I mean, what's football got that we don't have? Swimming is the ONLY sport that works your ENTIRE body, and helps you in so many other ways, like strengthing your heart and lungs, building strong character, giving us discipline, and so many more things. Other sports can be hard, yes, but there aren't many other sports where you play that sport (like football vs. swimming) year-round, where-as if you swim competitively, like I do, you have practice every night, for 2 hours, then practice Mon., Wed., and Fri. for 1 and a half hours, Saturday practice for 2 and a half hours, and any other cross training you migth do with your team, plus meets all year, and your own personal workouts (school things like track, or any other sport). In my opinion, swimming is by far the hardest sport, but then again, it is, in my opinion.
