Do You Use A Torque Wrench?

ABSOLUTELY.....Only on what i think are critical fastners... Maybe even a few more....
Will we get another poll as to what are critical fastners? Like say maybe Tour Pak Racks.
I am in the process of inventing one that speaks to you...It will say,
Bolt is almost tight..
Just a little more..
Bolt is just right...Leave it the phuck alone..
Bolt is too tight ..Back out and start all over, are you deaf, i said bolt was just right!!!!

P.S. Old torque wrenches make great door stops

Crap I remember being up there on deployment. Friggen sun coming up at zero dark thirty in morning. Have fun while you're there. I know I did.

yes, on all fasteners which require being torqued. i do not torque goofy stuff like the windshield to fairing screws, headlight trim ring, etc. it pays to have some sense.

It usually is nice and cool up here but we have been getting cooked this summer! Record summer but the only problem is that it is usually cool so nothing has a/c. Hoping the worm turns this month. It is pretty country up here though and we don't have the monster traffic that central Japan is famous for.

Always use TQ wrench, never had a problem doing it right. Makes a good job look better knowing I have done everything to spec. Really I just do it because I'm anal about everything.
