No, not at all.

They would deliberately lie to make the White man sound evil in any possible way.
They would claim such bullsh*t I don't even know how they could come up with it.

Try not to question them though - and tell them they're wrong.
You'd get sent to the principal like I did...
 
"History" and "the history you were taught in school" are two different things. "History" is history, information of what happened in the past and why it happened and how it affects us today. While "the history you were taught in school" are merely the stories and myths that every good citizen should know, with little informative value outside that it creates and bolsters a national identity.
