This is for people in and out the closet.
For those in the closet:
I feel like your still ashamed of who you are if your hiding it. If someone started talking badly about African Americans or the Irish, I would say "hey i'm yada yada yada, etc". As for someone in the closet they would not. If I would just sit their and be quiet, obviously I was ashamed and not really be accepting of my heritage. I myself would have to feel for some reason there was something wrong with it and therefore be ashamed. I just can't see how you can know your gay, claim you accept it, yet lie about it. You yourself must feel there something wrong wit it, if not why wouldn't you be out about it. Just because it's not socially accepted. Would you hide your race because it wasn't accepted? Would you hide one of your dearest friend because they weren't socially accepted? If you answered yes to any of the above you are a conformist coward and this question is not for you. If you wouldn't, why is your sexual orientation any different?
If you are out of the closet:
Do you agree or disagree, why or why not?
Do you feel like you could every hide your sexuality for anything?
