I believe war CAN be justified, it just rarely is. World War 1 for example, they were fighting over land in the beginning. World War 2 was mainly because of the economic declines in all of the countries, and Germany was just pissed at the reparations. French and Indian war was still fighting over land. The only war that is ever justified is Revolutionary Wars against irrational leaders and countries.

War is often justified through propaganda, but that doesn't make it right.
Definitely, the US government and the US media has proclaimed the so-called 'war on terror' as justified. However, it is neither a war, nor is it legally justified. This was a US attack and it is now it is an occupation of two countries. Calling this invasion and occupation a 'war' is nothing but pure propaganda and bunk. Fighting 'terror' is absolute fiction. These attacks and occupations have enriched the top 2% of the US while impoverishing the rest of the world.
Is war ever just? I don't think so. The path to peace is peace.
