Do you think veterans should be selected for trade union apprenticeships before

anyone else ? Who can agree with me on this. I believe that veterans of the military, especially those who have put there lives on the line in combat zones should be given the opportunity to get into skilled trades aprenticeships (eg. plumber, electrician, ironworker, etc.) before anyone else, including the children of journeymen. I have noticed that many tradespeople were gotten their job by their dad, uncle etc. I have also noticed that there are large numbers of veterans are homeless, unemployed, etc. Why can't the unions who are so patriotic and American countract this problem by giving these jobs to veterans so the people who deserve these kinds of good paying jobs have them? They have the most experience in working outside and physical labor.
