I loved the supra's bodystyle, but the engine was a poor engine. That was my fave car from toyota, but all models except for the last two years (maybe) had frequent problems. I think with the high sales of the scion coupes and box model that they aren't looking to a new supra anytime soon. Although with nissan's crappy release of the weak gt-r, toyota would gain great ground if they released a 500hp upgraded supra.
Also, whatever happened with the mr-2? I loved the 90's designs, but then the box type I really didn't like. Toyota needs to get the mr-2 back on track (if they still make it). That was a really cool car along with the supra. Once again though, they need to beef it up. 200hp doesn't cut it anymore. It did in the 90's stock, but now with the challenger, charger, mustang gt, mustang cobra, 350z, bmw 3, mercedes amg, etc all starting stock at 300hp or over, they'd need to be a lot stronger if rereleased.
